This painting is the on the cover of my new book,
"How to Enter Shows, Win Awards and Become Famous". The book is the result of a class I offered a few years ago.
The goal of that class was that anyone who wished could use the principles of the class to create the best work that they could. That painting then would be entered into the Missouri Watercolor Society juried competition.
Eight class members entered the show, and one was accepted, Dulce, who had never entered a watercolor show before. Over 40,000 visitors viewed the show of 80 paintings chosen from several thousand.
So far, two of the demonstrations in the book have been accepted into national competitions.
